Meet Daviana Berkowitz-Sklar ’23!
Daviana is an Ecology and Evolutionary Biology major at Yale College. She is a research intern at the Hopkins Marine Laboratory of Stanford University where she is studying a billfish fishery off the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica through fisher ecological knowledge. She is also the President and Co-Founder of Nature Now International, a youth-led environmental nonprofit. Daviana is interested in solutions-oriented research of marine social-ecological systems, especially fisheries and coral reef ecosystems.
