More about Emma:
Emma is a student at Pauli Murray College majoring in Environmental Studies. Growing up spending abundant amounts of time in the beautiful outdoors in her home county in rural Pennsylvania, she has carried this love for the environment to her academic studies of agriculture and international development. As a Global Food Fellow, she will study the connection between the crops farmers choose to plant and domestic/international development programs. She is deeply interested in the intersection between environmental justice and agriculture and hopes to pursue a career working to uplift community-centered agricultural systems. Outside of her work, Emma enjoys sauntering throughout New Haven, playing Bananagrams, and traveling.
