Meet Ismini Ethridge ’23!
Ismini is a Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of the Environment, specializing in Ecosystem Management and Conservation. She also holds a part-time Program Associate position with The Forest Dialogue, and works as an agroforestry berms manager at the Yale Farm. She is particularly interested in the intersection of sustainable land use, food sovereignty, and climate change mitigation strategies. She spent this past summer conducting research on community land use patterns, traditional agroforestry methods, and food sovereignty in the buffer zone of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve in Sri Lanka.
