More about Jane:
Jane is from Queens, NY. As a Fuzhounese-American, her story with food classically starts with and centers on having grown up working at her family’s Chinese take-out restaurant. Because of this, she is very interested in Asian American foodways, the materiality and sociality of food, and the compelling stories that food, food-making, and food-makers can tell. She is also interested in the ways food and ecology intersect. She adores the Old Acre and its community and staff, and is delighted to make and share some good pizza. In her free time, she enjoys long bike rides, climbing with friends, and crocheting for friends.
