More about Olivia:
Hey there! My name is Olivia Telemaque. I am from West Orange, New Jersey, and am double majoring in History (social movements and social change concentration) and Art (as a painter, and novice photographer). Coming from an African-American and Haitian-American household, food has been a cultural connector allowing me to understand my heritage when language wasn’t always accessible! Food is something I’ve been raised to share, converse over, and explore. I was introduced to YSFP through students I met during my study abroad in France (who are now some of my best friends) and haven’t looked back since. In joining YSFP, I’ve been exceptionally grateful in sharing and interacting with food as a cultural history and getting to learn about food security, sustainable agriculture, and mindful eating. When I am not hands deep in pizza dough at my favorite place on campus (Yale Farm of course), you can find me in the many music spaces on campus whether it be Spring Fling, 17o1, or researching Black music history. I love running, hiking, biking, sharing good music with good people, wandering with my camera, and cooking with friends!
